    213013 - Yoga

    Learn to manage stress through the art of relaxation. Hatha Yoga teaches you how to relax using various postures and breathing exercises that increase the body's strength, flexibility and tone. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a towel or mat. This class will be held at the South Barrington Park District, off of Barrington Road, at 3 Tennis Club Lane.     214015 - Total Fitness Workout

    Get fit, be healthy, lose weight and feel great. You can do it all in this dynamic cardiovascular workout that combines the energy of high- and low-impact aerobics, the intensity of interval training and the fat burning benefits of step aerobics. THis class includes "HITT" and "Tabata" style training. All movements can be modified to accommodate all fitness levels. Stretching is done to improve flexibility. Tubing, rubber bands and steps are provided. Please bring weights (3-8 lbs.) & a mat. Pay at the door, $7.50 per class once the class minimum of 6 registrations has been met.

Climbing is a great way to get lean and increase your cardiovascular endurance level. Come and learn the basics of rock climbing and get fit doing it! In this class you will also learn proper belaying techniques, safety guidelines that will qualify you to climb independently or to belay others. Must be able to demonstrate all techniques and pass the instructor's criteria to become certified. Certification will be vaild for Prairie Stone Climbing Wall only and will expire one year from the end of the class.
